Dr Mangesh Jadhav
Paediatric Cardiologist
Dr Mangesh Jadhav is a Paediatric Cardiologist with over 10 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of congenital and acquired cardiac problems in neonates, children and adolescents.
Mangesh’s clinical interests and expertise include:
- Congenital and acquired cardiac defects
- Palpitation, Arrhythmias
- Chest pain
- Syncope (Faint)/dizziness
- Family history of sudden cardiac death
Mangesh acquired his primary qualifications in Medicine and further specialty training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology in India. He was the recipient of a scholarship from The University College London in 2012 facilitating further training at The Great Ormond St Hospital London, before moving to Australia. He completed his Australian fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Along with General Cardiology, he has additional fellowships and training in Paediatric Electrophysiology, Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging (Cardiac MRI and Echocardiography) and Cardiac Intensive Care. He has worked as Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at Starship Children’s Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. He is also a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ). Currently, he is working as a Paediatric Cardiologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Heart and Monash Children’s Hospital.
Mangesh has published in peer review journals, participated in multicentre studies and presented lectures at international cardiology conferences.
Mangesh believes in a holistic approach towards patient care. In order to best understand the heart condition of your child during a consultation, Mangesh himself performs and interprets the investigations (ECG and ECHO), along with a thorough clinical assessment to devise a management plan.
