Associate Professor David Armstrong
Respiratory and Sleep Paediatrician
David is the head of Respiratory Medicine at Monash Children’s Hospital and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Monash University.
David graduated from the University of Auckland and trained in respiratory paediatrics in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and in Melbourne at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He completed his MD thesis at the University of Melbourne in 1999. He holds a public appointment at Monash Children’s Hospital and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Frankston Hospital.
David welcomes all referrals of children with respiratory or sleep problems.
His special interests are in:
– Severe asthma in children
– Recurrent wheezing in infants
– Management of sleep-disordered breathing in children
